Galway Community Resistance, a new activism Group in Galway has emphasised the importance of collaboration and staying focused on addressing community needs. Lochlann and Yash who represented the Group on GOCOM Radio’s Breakfast Show today, urged the Galway community to talk and work together more, ensuring that priorities align with people's real challenges, rather than pointing fingers at migrants and refugees.
The “Stronger together” was their rallying call on, as they encouraged individuals and organisations to join efforts in fostering inclusivity and equality.
Speaking on the Breakfast Show, they also highlighted their Open Lunch event this Saturday, January 25, from 2 to 4 pm at Teach Solais, as a step toward building connections within the community.

Listeners were reminded that collective action is key to creating a unified, resilient Galway.
