Men struggling with domestic abuse have been urged to seek help and break the silence. This call was made by Daithí Cronin from Men’s Aid Ireland Galway during a conversation on The Breakfast Show with Islammiyah Saudique-Kadejo.
Speaking on the issue, Daithí emphasised that abuse—whether physical, emotional, or financial—can happen to men too. However, many suffer in silence due to stigma and fear of not being believed or supported. “No one should go through this alone. Support is available,” he assured.
Men’s Aid Ireland provides confidential services, Court Service, legal guidance, and emotional support for those in need. “If you’re struggling, reach out. Help is here,” Daithí urged. Daithí runs the Galway Outreach Court Service for Men's Aid Ireland.
If you or someone you know needs support, contact Men’s Aid Ireland on 01 554 3811, send an email to hello@mensaid.ie or visit www.mensaid.ie
